Das Album City Life entstand in Berlin und trägt auch deutlich dessen Handschrift. Ursprünglich untertitelt mit dem Zusatz "Music in Motion" verrät der dann letztendlich doch unterlassene Untertitel, dass es in erster Linie um Fortbewegung, Bewegung, quirliges Leben und nicht zuletzt den Menschen im urbanen Umfeld geht.
So ist die Musik denn auch am Besten zu hören: mit Kopfhörern durch die Straßenschluchten laufend, in der S-Bahn fahrend, mit dem Fahrrad oder per Bus an ein Ziel oder sich unendlich auf dem Weg befindend.
